Good quality raw milk has to be free of debris and sediment; free of off-flavours and abnormal colour and bacterial counts and of normal composition and acidity. The quality of raw milk is main factor determining the quality of our manufactured yak milk dog chews. Good quality dog chews can be produced only from quality raw yak milk.
The hygienic quality of milk is important in producing milk and milk products that are safe and suitable for human as well as dogs.To achieve this quality, we practise hygiene and apply the same in our factory.
We test the milk for :
Quantity – measured in volume and weight weight.
Organoleptic characteristics – appearance of the milk as well as taste and smell.
Compositional characteristics – mainly the content of fat, solid and protein contents in the milk.
Hygienic characteristics – hygienic condition, cleanliness of the milk and quality.
Adulteration – with water, preservatives, added solids, stringent actions measures are followed if found.
